PARALLELA WORLD OF YOUR OWN
PARALLEL ORIGINALS / Practice project

Three lines after a rehearsal

Record an intention, an observed change, and a next idea instead of scoring yourself.

Write the intention first

Before practicing or recording, write what you want someone to notice first: a direction, a pause, or a repetition. A clear intention gives you something specific to compare with the result.

Look for one change

During review, look for one change connected with your intention rather than judging the whole phrase. Name the count and the difference around it. Without a recording, a partner can describe one observable detail.

Keep the next task small

Use the third line for one adjustment: a clearer finishing position or a longer pause, for example. Avoid turning rhythm, direction, filming, and editing into one list of problems. A small repeatable task is easier to return to.

Make it a small practice

  1. Write one intention before practicing.
  2. Record one observed change afterward.
  3. Leave one concrete task for the next attempt.
