#172A42#647C92#E6B979Decide on one light area
Let the window be the first place the eye finds, keeping the surrounding street simple. Establish the outline of the light before filling the interior. If every sign shines equally from the start, the window may lose its role.
Reflections need not copy everything
Echo the window’s color on the ground, then interrupt it with a few uneven shapes. A reflection can connect the upper and lower parts of an image without repeating every object in full.
Suggest rain through edges
Soften some edges and keep others clear. The contrast may suggest rain more readably than filling every area with lines. Shrink the image at the end and check whether the intended light is still easy to find.
Make it a small practice
- Place the main light area first.
- Connect it to the ground with an incomplete reflection.
- Check the focal point in a smaller view.
