The scene
Four seats are numbered 1 through 4 from left to right. Aki, Bo, Cora, and Dara occupy one each, with no empty seat. Who is in seat 4? All clues use this same left-to-right view.
The clues
Cora sits immediately to Aki’s right. Dara is somewhere to Cora’s right, not necessarily next to Cora. Bo is somewhere to Aki’s left. Start by treating the first clue as a two-person block, then consider the space it needs on each side.
A way to work
Draw four boxes and move the Aki–Cora block through the possible positions. Check the remaining clues one at a time and cross out a placement as soon as it conflicts. Keep an arrangement only if all clues hold together.
