Begin with availability
“Would you like to…” is a useful invitation. Name the activity and find out whether the other person is interested before adding a long schedule. Leave room for them to accept, decline, or suggest another time.
Give the time a reference
For people in different regions, “Friday at seven” may be unclear. Add “in your time zone” or name a zone both have confirmed. This exercise practices clarification rather than calculating a real-world time difference.
Summarize the agreement
Before closing, repeat the agreed details in a sentence. Mention a photo or a short piece of writing if one is needed. A brief summary makes fewer assumptions about what the other person already knows.
The conversation
Would you like to talk about the projects we’re working on?
Sure. When would work for you?
Would Friday at seven in the evening work?
Do you mean your time zone or mine?
Your time zone. We could start with twenty minutes.
That works. Should I bring anything?
Just bring one picture you’d like to discuss.
Great. Friday at seven, in my time zone.
